Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) refers to a student-athlete’s ability to earn compensation for the use of their personal identity—such as their name, image, or likeness. As of July 1, 2021, the NCAA allows student-athletes to receive payment for participating in NIL-related activities. These activities may include, but are not limited to, social media endorsements, commercial appearances, autograph signings, and other personal or business ventures.

No, ROAR+ is not a charitable organization and your membership fees are not tax deductible. Your monthly subscription gives you access to exclusive content made available on ROAR+.

ROAR+ retains sole discretion in selecting the student-athletes with whom it partners. However, subscriber feedback will play a central role in guiding these decisions. We are committed to actively seeking input from our community and making every effort to reflect their interests. Furthermore, ROAR+ is dedicated to supporting athletes from across all Penn State athletic programs.
